The interview was extensive, and many subjects were discussed. Here is a quick video of his second giveaway of a book to a family with four children.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LbL7sxxU24I\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The book has continued to play a role in discussions of longevity and future remedies to the ravages of senescence. Here is a <a href=\"http:\/\/unitypolitics.blogspot.com\/2014\/09\/death-is-wrong.html\">great post<\/a> by Will Muessig of Unity Politics, mentioning <em>Death is Wrong<\/em> and refuting Ezekiel Emanuel\u2019s deeply fallacious recent article about why age 75 is a good age to die.<\/p>\n<p>I am also pleased to have had my thoughts included in \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/future\/story\/20140924-the-greatest-myths-about-cyborgs\">Cyborgs: The truth about human augmentation<\/a>\u201d \u2013 an excellent new article by Frank Swain on BBC Future. Mr. Swain had previously interviewed me about <em>Death is Wrong<\/em>, which led to his article \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/future\/story\/20140421-how-to-live-forever\">How to live forever<\/a>\u201d being published by BBC Future in April 2014. This time Mr. Swain asked me to help debunk common myths about human augmentation, and was happy to share my vision of \u201ca future in which a thousand augmented flowers bloom\u201d and in which augmentations will help people live longer, more fulfilling lives as well.<\/p>\n<p>The continued infusion of the ideas of indefinite life extension into publicly prominent discussions was one of my key aims in writing <em>Death is Wrong<\/em>. Just like our book-distribution campaign, <em>this aim is being fulfilled right now<\/em>, and it will hopefully keep paying cultural dividends to the longevity movement for months and years to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>G.
